​Spring is officially here, and before we log those heavy miles, it’s time to sharpen our situational awareness. Join the Black Hills Chapter of the Harley Owners Group for a hands-on safety intensive.

​Knowing what’s around you—and who can’t see you—is the difference between a great ride and a close call.

​On the Agenda

  • ​The FedEx "No-Zone" Experience We’re hosting a FedEx Freight Semi on-site for a perspective-shifting demonstration. Ever wonder exactly what a trucker sees? Climb into the cab and look through the mirrors to see firsthand how easily a motorcycle disappears in a blind spot.
  • ​Service Department Spotlight The pros from the Black Hills H-D Service Department will give a short presentation on pre-ride inspections and mechanical safety essentials to ensure your bike is as ready for the road as you are.
  • ​Safety Officer Update Our very own Safety Officer, Tammy, will be sharing insights on the First Aid classes our members have been tackling, along with a refresher on general group riding safety protocols.
  • ​"Look twice, save a life." This isn't just a slogan—it’s a skill. Let’s make sure we’re the most visible and prepared riders on the road this season.

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.
