HOG Officer Connection - from Regional Manager Paul Blotske

As the days get shorter and the mercury drops here in Wisconsin, it’s a great time to break out the heated gear, sneak in a few more late-season miles and reflect on the fun times we’ve had this past year at rallies, rides and chapter visits from coast to coast. It was a wonderful year full of quality saddle time and engaging conversations with our members from all over the world at events as diverse as the H-D Homecoming, Sturgis and Daytona and H.O.G. rallies nationwide.

We also couldn’t be prouder of the outcome of the recently completed Let’s Ride Challenge™ Ride for Heroes, which raised a donation of $1 million to our nation’s Military, Veterans and First Responders thanks to all the riders who collectively rolled up more than 83 million miles in support of this great cause. I’m pleased to report that thanks to that success, the challenge is returning for 2026.

Now our focus shifts to H.O.G. officer training as we gear up to hit the road for the first of 21 nationwide stops on our Regional Officer Connection calendar. At each ROC session, we’ll get to work one on one with H.O.G. officers like you from all over the country, sharing your best practices and new ideas about how to make our chapters run smoothly and create amazing experiences for our members.

We’ll also tell you more about something we’re excited to introduce next year called the Chrome Chapter recognition program. This program is designed to recognize and reward H.O.G. chapters that are doing an outstanding job of serving their members and setting a standard of excellence that separates the best from the rest.

Final details are still being worked out, but you’ll find an overview of the program below that lays out the highlights. Attending officer training will a key element of earning Chrome status, so please plan attend a ROC session ready to learn more about how your chapter can achieve a badge of distinction that will set it apart.

As always, thanks for everything you do to help make the Harley Owners Group the world’s biggest and best riding club.
